Father Louis A. Dietrich
 Steptember 1953 saw the return of a former parishioner to serve as the new Pastor, Father Louis Dietrich. With Father Dietrich are Fathers Siegfried Eckert, Thomas McGuire and Frederick Clark. During the past three years, 1953 to 1956, of Father Dietrich's very able and efficient administration, a tremendous building program has been inaugurated making this parish one of the finest in the state. Every phase, spiritual, physical and cultural, of the Notre Dame Organization has been streamlined and improved to measure up to the strict requirements of twentieth century rules and regulations. And much of the credit for this New Look must go to Father Dietrich's untiring efforts in the face of overwhelming and tremendous odds which would have easily discouraged a less persistant person.
