As the Mother Church of the Chippewa Valley, we are committed to and strive with the help of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to:
- Faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and promote Pope John Paul's call for a "New Evangelization";
- Center our parish life in the worship of God in the Eucharist ans the hearing of His Word;

- Foster the deepening of the spiritual life through prayer and Eucharistic Adoration;
- Provide opportunities for Faith formation for all ages, so that all may grow together in their knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ;
- Be a benevolent community of believers that strive to provide comfort and support to those in need, and that promises and uplifts the dignity of all human life.

Notre Dame Parish Picnic - August 21 and 22
Mark your calendar for this year's church picnic. We will once again be featuring our roast pork dinner. Relax in the beer tent and
enjoy all of the great food. This year
we will have a vintage tractor and snowmobile exhibit. - Saturday night enjoy music by the
Paper City Sounds playing waltzes, polkas, and old-time favorites.
- Sunday will feature an all-you-can-eat pancake, sausage
and egg breakfast, kid's games, bingo, silent auction, country store, paddle wheel and much more.

Lectio Divina
Praying and Living the Holy Scriptures. Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and
11:00 am in the Multipurpose Room of the Notre Dame Parish Life Center.
Coffee, doughnuts, and fellowship will be served. Please join

Volunteers Needed
Help is needed to clean The Church of Notre Dame on the 2nd Tuesday of the
month. Next cleaning: August 10 after the 8:10 am Mass. Any questions, call the rectory 723-7108.

Elizabeth Ministries
Following the example of Mary and Elizabeth, we visit and share the sacredness of life
Elizabeth Ministers reach out in times of celebration and in times of sorrow. We call each other on the
phone, send cards, help each other with childcare and, we can even bring food so when you are having
an especially busy or trying time you dont have to cook! We want to be available when YOU need us.
